So, wanna know some stuff about me? Do you? Huh?

So there's some stuff about me in the bio, but what it doesn't say...
I LOVE cartoons. Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park.
Guilty Pleasures? Teen Titans, Fairly Odd Parents, The Batman (sorry NOT Spongebob!) Duck Dodgers. Used to LOVE Animaniacs and Tiny Toons. Yes I know it's very SAD.
Did I mention I like the Dallas Cowboys? Yeah I guess it's pretty evident on this Blog.
RUSH is my favourite band, live and on disc. They are Canada's greatest rock act. Period. Don't like Geddy's voice? Get over it, he hasn't sounded shrill for about 20 years now.

Other personal stuff - born Owen Sound Ontario, raised and grew up in London Ontario. Graduate UWO. Worked for K-Mart for a couple years and lived (briefly) in Toronto, Simcoe, Newmarket and Hamilton. Worked a summer at Charleston Lake (near Brockville) fell in love with this end of the province, settled in Ottawa in 1985 and have been here since.

Musically - played Sax and Tuba in H.S., taught self Bass Guitar to play in School Bands. Played in a wedding band called "Wildwind" in 1979-80. Played in "Roadhouse" in Ingersoll in 1982.
Bunch of jamming in Ottawa, nothing serious, with (the late) Chris Spitzer around 1987-88, with wicked guitarist Gerry over the years and my buddy Jeff on the Drums. Almost got roped into this insane "concept" band "Dance of the Lost Indian Tribes" - yeah it was WHACK! Christian Rock band "Threshing Floor" about 5 years ago. Not much time or inclination since ....

HOW 'BOUT DEM COWBOYS!!!!

Another SUPERB game by Dallas yesterday. So glad I took the day off work to experience it!
How cool is this, early in the season we were looking at a mediocre .500 season at best. With what's going on in the NFC East we're playoff bound and dare I say it?! If their level of play maintains they could be SUPERBOWL BOUND!!!!
GO BOYS!!!

Anybody who knows me is aware that I am a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, have been since the mid-seventies.
Wasn't that game Sunday against Indianapolis AWESOME!
If they do nothing else this season, that was on the highlight reel of best games I have enjoyed as a fan!
