Long Time No Post!

Been real busy, beautiful weather here in Ottawa, we're doing tons of outside stuff. We just installed a waterfall and pond today.
Plans are for outdoor wedding in our backyard one year from now in 2008.
So sad about the Sens, glad I'm not a hockey fan or it would have been traumatic.
Good news: NFL preseason in August. Bad news: it will mean summer is waning! :(
All in all , things aint too bad!
Thanks for visiting!

I'm Ba-a-a-c-k!

Between being downright lazy and having that Blogger/Google switch over thing I haven't updated my blogspot in a while.
So life is good! Sens are winning, the winter is over (finally) !

Losing UGLY!

Well it's over. Not a big surprise but dissappointing none the less.
Rick Berman might be describing that wild ending as "bumbling, stumbling, fumbling,WHOOP!"
I guess if you have to lose a game in the playoffs, thus ending the season, you might as well do it in a dramatic fashion and that game was certainly dramatic! More highs and lows, thrills and chills than a football game ought to have!
Like Al Michaels and John Madden said in the game, that's all the difference between hero and zero. I guess the positive aspect of allof this is the team has potential, Romo needs some grounding, a solid training camp and workup next year should have him better prepeared. The Dallas defence needs some work. TO was amazingly quiet for the last few weeks (did you see that dropped pass AGAIN?!).
Nope, it was a fun year, they perfomred better than expected but the all the ingredeints were not right and there's work to be done. A fun year and looking forward to next season and whatever changes Parcell and Jones make in the off season.
GO COWBOYS!

Well Tonight's the Night!

Either the Cowboys win and move on in the playoffs or the season ends in Seattle!
I think the 'boys are favoured to win, but hey, they were supposed to cream Detroit so no guarantees with this team!
The only laudible thing about the last game was Detroit gave up their 1st round draft choice by winning the game!!!!
The only thing I know for sure is that it sucked to be a Raiders fan this year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Nobody reads this thing but if you happen to stumble across it....
Best Wishes of the New Year to you, here's to bigger and better in everything in our lives for 2007!
CHEERS!!!

AAARRGGHH!!!

Big loss to the DETROIT LIONS??!! I am not full of confidence going into Saturday Night's Playoff game with the Seahawks.
The Seahawks are on a losing streak and badly mauled but the 'Boys don't seem to have it together!
Nice thing is that the Giants and Eagles get to hammer each other so in a later match up somebody may benefit from that encounter.
Here's crossing our fingers!!!

I HATE PHILLY!!!

Just kidding but man, those Eagles! Poor Christmas present for us Dallas Cowboys fans! I am starting to get worried/annoyed. After an amazing mid season turnaround, the 'Boys are choking in the games that matter! Doesn't bode well for the play-offs.... And all this noise about who will be back next year (Parcells) and who wont (Tyrell). I was probably Owen's biggest non-fan, but he has contributed to this team. I detested Deion Sanders as well, but hey, football is entertainment and BIG business so whatever packs the stadium and gets the fans to watch on TV is what it's all about. So we (probably) just lost the first round bye, lost the division (even if they tie, Philly has the best division record) so more obstacles in the post season for a team that is croaking in the pressure games. All we fans can do is pray this is all growing pains to a stellar season next year! Go Cowboys!
